7 months since my last post.

Today I was watching a Medium episode in which the past, the present & Alison's dreams had a peculiar relationship. This, like the Torah reading in which Jacob foretells the future of each of his sons, made me think about my story "A Singular Being," the protagonist of which is an alien being that perceives past, present & future simultaneously.


I think I should submit it again to Asimov's. The last time I submitted it to them it took so long to get an ordinary rejection that I vowed never to submit to them again as an unpublished author. I figured my manuscript fell under the desk for 100 days or so, and when they found it they figured they'd better dispatch it in a hurry.

But now, this seems silly.

I think the editorial office of Analog is much more organized than the folks down the hall at  Asimov's. But so what? Anyway, you can submit online now. So that's what I plan for the next step for "Being".
